Table Napkins - Sonoma

Introducing the Indigo Resist Block Printed "Sonoma" Table napkin.
Indigo creates magical hues of blue. The grape and vine pattern reminded us of the vineyards of Northern California and so the name!
Printed using the "dabu" method, where a carved wood block is coated with mud and stamped on the cloth. After drying, the cloth is dipped into a vat of indigo. The printed part remains white after the mud is washed away leaving a beautiful pattern. Small cracks make up a batik type finish. 
Each piece is unique and ages beautifully as you serve more and more dinners at your table. A wonderful addition to your serving essentials.
